I have experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress management, marriage and relationship counselling, self-esteem, life transitions and substance dependence.
I believe it is important to integrate all elements of an individual into counselling. If you are seeking Christian-based counselling, I am happy to provide this.
I approach therapy with an integrative approach, using a variety of techniques and theories in order to ensure that the counselling is right for you. I use tools and techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy and Person Centred Therapy.
Hanneke Verbeek, RP

Hello! I am a seasoned registered psychotherapist working with individuals, children, youth, and their families. I also offer Christian counselling. I would be honoured to journey alongside you to understand your needs, and collaboratively help you meet your goals. Like you, I have experienced life challenges, (most recently the cancer diagnosis of my granddaughter) I provide a safe space where you are truly accepted, so we can navigate through life's challenges and pain. In addition, I offer supervision to therapists and interns, and am passionate about helping them develop their skills and become the best that they can be.
I hold a Masters of Divinity in Clinical Counselling and am pursuing a doctorate degree. I have an extensive background working alongside families struggling with illness, grief, developmental, behavioural, emotional, relational and spiritual issues. I provide a safe non-judgmental space, so you can share what is on your mind and heart, and you have support.

Brian has cross-cultural experience and specializes in helping those in ministry/missions to stay holistically healthy.

I have experience supporting individuals and couples who are facing anxiety, depression, identity issues, marriage counselling, pre-marriage preparation, adoption, pregnancy loss, parent teen conflict and menopause.
I work from a strength based and solution focused lens in our sessions. This means that I believe you have the strength and capacity to make changes that align with your values and meet your goals.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with experience supporting clients through trauma, crisis, anxiety, life change, and many things in between. I want to help you feel confident in the next steps you take, regardless of what you might be facing.
I aim to have a holistic and strengths-based approach with my clients, which means we try to find the things in your life that are already working for you so we can apply it to the parts of your life that need a little help.
Some of the therapies I use include: Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and other frameworks that could be helpful to you.

I am a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling student at Tyndale University, passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I hold student membership with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CCAFT). I am also in the process of registering with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
My experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and emotional support has shaped my approach to therapy, which is both compassionate and evidence-based. I integrate solution-focused and family systems therapy to help clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and strengthen relationships.
