I have experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress management, marriage and relationship counselling, self-esteem, life transitions and substance dependence.
I believe it is important to integrate all elements of an individual into counselling. If you are seeking Christian-based counselling, I am happy to provide this.
I approach therapy with an integrative approach, using a variety of techniques and theories in order to ensure that the counselling is right for you. I use tools and techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy and Person Centred Therapy.

Hello! I am a seasoned registered psychotherapist working with individuals, children, youth, and their families. I also offer Christian counselling. I would be honoured to journey alongside you to understand your needs, and collaboratively help you meet your goals. Like you, I have experienced life challenges, (most recently the cancer diagnosis of my granddaughter) I provide a safe space where you are truly accepted, so we can navigate through life's challenges and pain. In addition, I offer supervision to therapists and interns, and am passionate about helping them develop their skills and become the best that they can be.
I hold a Masters of Divinity in Clinical Counselling and am pursuing a doctorate degree. I have an extensive background working alongside families struggling with illness, grief, developmental, behavioural, emotional, relational and spiritual issues. I provide a safe non-judgmental space, so you can share what is on your mind and heart, and you have support.

I fully recognize that life is not always easy, and I care deeply about helping you navigate life’s greatest challenges. Understanding that each client is unique, each session is tailored to your specific needs.
My approach to therapy combines a variety of helpful theories and interventions to find what’s suitable for your needs. Some include: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Person Centred Therapy. We all need support to grow and thrive in everyday life! As a Registered Social Worker, I care deeply about how your upbringing, culture, faith, and other factors influence your wellbeing. I am inspired by those who want to grow through the difficult circumstances they find themselves in.
I have practiced social work in a variety of settings including, community organizations, women’s health, child protection, and in faith communities. I also have an interest in identity issues, adoption, and parenting, specifically parent-teen conflict.
I work from a strength based and solution focused lens. This means that I believe you have the strength and capacity to make changes that align with your values and meet your goals. I will support you by using attachment theory, ACT and other frameworks to help you determine how to move forward.
Julia Mills, RP(Q)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with experience supporting clients through trauma, crisis, anxiety, life change, and many things in between. I want to help you feel confident in the next steps you take, regardless of what you might be facing.
I aim to have a holistic and strengths-based approach with my clients, which means we try to find the things in your life that are already working for you so we can apply it to the parts of your life that need a little help.
Some of the therapies I use include: Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and other frameworks that could be helpful to you.

I aim to provide you with a non-judgmental, empathetic space that will support you in your journey to meet your goals.
I am currently completing my Master of Theology (Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy) at Wilfred Laurier University. I employ techniques informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic approaches. I am also happy to integrate your faith tradition into our work if that is something you would like.

Brian has cross-cultural experience and specializes in helping those in ministry/missions to stay holistically healthy.
